May 4 Friends of Gardens Manitoba “Honey Bees, Beekeeping and the Power of Working Together”
Meet Rebecca, beekeeper and owner of Prairie Sweetheart Honey, a small-scale apiary near Assiniboine Park in Winnipeg, MB Canada.
She’s been taking care of honey bees for over a decade and it was a good ten years before that when she first immersed herself into learning about the complicated life inside a hive.
Rebecca is also an upcoming speaker for Tedx Winnipeg where she will share about how honey bees can teach us to make better decisions and become a stronger voice, so we can work together and take action to light up our corners of the world.
Join us to learn about honey bees, beekeeping and the lessons that we, as humans, can learn from the hive.
